You would probably never know how many people use this tool
I just used it today (troops formations for the first time) to experiment with different layouts, it is so comfortable.
I mean, in game it is very hard to do if you are not a particular race, or you have to borrow troops to see their size, and so on.

Would be great if you continued with this tool and projected it to Lilith directly. They would love this thing!
Troops formations have hero icons, but I really missed troops icons too

I can ask them to add something similar in game.

Thanks. I made it because I needed such tool for experiments, and for sharing formations to my friends, helping them, explaining some tactical tricks.

I could not find any proper images for troops. I have googled a lot of images, arts, fanarts, etc related to AoC. I have even decompiled android application trying to find some graphical resources. I have tried to make screenshots from my phone and crop them, but result looked like a piece of shit. I have tried to send email to Lilith asking images.
So colored rectangles are the best for now.
But if someone could help me with images, I will update formation builder.

The best I could do is I would suggest you to use the troop icons from the game when we order them.
I did a very rough and inaccurate job here, so don't judge that too fast. plus I used a simple paint
By this method you can also see the size of the troops.
The images feet 2 tiles, in case you will question how to put them into, for example, snipers formation
It is not necessary to use the names of the troops below the pictures because we all will anyway recognize them via the pictures.
