I need to hand my city to another house in my kingdom.
What is the best procedure? I tried leaving the city empty, but that doesn't work since the city still belongs to my house and thus can't be attacked

So I have a few questions

If I destroy every tower and then leave the city, will it be free to take?
To be able to do this, will I have to make arrangements with a house from another kingdom?

you can just disband the city as houselord. Go to the city tab for that. You will need to recapture it then.
