Vega + New artifact second skill, seriously??

OK, own up.
Which one of your dev geniouses (as if any dev is reading here) thought having an invulnerable Vega while channeling Sun God is a nice and balanced feature?

It's useless on Vega, if you place Vega on where she will be killed soon, send her to corner, behind any stone hero; besides, your army never need to cast Sun God too soon.

in late game fights(espacially when running human swords) you want to get vega out pretty soon.
And a lot of people used to snipe vega with jacques so the item does indeed change a lot.

As a dwarf, I always snipe vega, no mattter where she is (if jac can't reach her with firestorm, nora rocket lobby thingy will).

For those that need further info, you don't even need to kill vega to stop her cast.
Any interrupt (like rufio leap) stops the cast... (obviously not if she has the new artifact) so you can't 100% "protect" her.

And thats sound reasonable for you?
Sounds like a pure bug, or poor design from my POV.

Such poor game design, many support (and weak) heroes should never move forward, Lilith should set defense lines = 2 bottom lines, any heroes placed in defense lines will never move forward. If you can kill a hero behind enemy line, it's another bug/poor design.

You probably have more experience than me with gaming, great for you.

If we put aside meaningless comparisons - Vega is totally useless without sun of god spell, what's the point of using her if you can just stop the spell after 1 second?

It's part of tactics peeps. It's because she's important that you need ways to counter her orelse you might as well get the spell as passive.
To counter vega for example, you need to rearrange heroes so you can reach her, put abilities on them that you might not need and then -choose to- counter her...
Using Jacques firestorm is a risk since if you have enemy troops betweein him and vega he might not damage them enough for his fire path to reach her
Using nora rocket fire redirect thingy sacrifices your firepower to kill her (if you do it while she's still moving you might miss her...)
Using Rufio to leap and stun her will probably morale boost the enemy troops right after as he's a total wimp and will suffer a horrible fast death
etc etc
The stupid casters that move forward (even past our frontiline) to pew pew with their wands is indeed a terrible design choice but if they fix that (like they did with the generals), just because they're fragile, doesn't mean that they should be invulnerable.
At least in my opinion...
