If u got a superwhale, you shouldn't easily be able to defeat him if ur normal player. SIMPLE. Don't expect to beat the Emperor in a duel with JUST jacques.

Now, it may be a BIT to the pay to win, but with jacques, u can keep up, even without, JUST KEEP UP! Tons of players play for free, duel them, u dont need to be on the leaderboards. The Free to play players are about 5-6 levels below the super whales, so just duel at that level, DONT take on the emperor:
Simply, Siege, Fight, Play, And have fun at the free level with all the players, let the whales fight amongst themselves

Jacques , like year ago, I wish people still consider Jacques as an OP hero. Nah, they now attack you with high level rune temples, your Jacques would run far away together with all your heroes and army.

you have no idea what whales are if you did not reach level 40.

the complaints are not entirely that f2p players have no fighting chance, but players who spent $1000 to $2000 on a mobile game also got no fighting chance.

and the gap keeps growing.

this isnt real life - real life is "unbalanced" enough - this is a game and can be designed in a balanced way. pay to win is a flawed concept and shouldnt be used in games. this "I paid, thus I need to be supreior to you" is a) annoying and b) arrogant ... you need to be superior to me, if you have more SKILL (or for some games more luck) than I do. nothing else entitles you to be superior.

just to make an example how flawed the concept of ptw is (which everybody will understand):

the soccer WC is about to begin - how would you like it if teams could buy a goal ...?!

Spending money is not a problem, the problem is disproportionality.

Example:

A player with all the heroes of the game in PVP beats a player with all the free heroes of the game.

Why?

Simply because it has more heroes and more runes when both have the maximum technology.

Maybe the player with free heroes can have all his heroes in level 50, but the specific heroes of each race and the advantage of the statistics are more useful.

Solution?

Limit the number of heroes in PVP. If there are 10 free heroes, you can only put 10 heroes in PVP.

The player with payment heroes will always have an advantage because ben, for example, doubles the resistance or cleo doubles the magic damage.

In siege, now only dwarves can destroy castles.

Why?

Because they use a golden turtle and troops that counteract the garrison troops of the attacked player.

Solution?

That you can only borrow troops of your own race.

Nor is it logical that a defender needs 18 hours to heal his troops and the attacker needs 12 hours to build a gold mech.


Solution?

Reduce the time of construction of troops, make the game proportional.

If no castle can be destroyed, there's no point in continuing to play ...

How is it not pay to win when you can literally pay money to circumvent every single mechanic in the game? You can straight up throw your army at a full gold wall, pay linari to rush the hospital, pay linari to rush rebuilding the dead troops, and hit it again... over and over until it collapses and you get tens of thousands of rare RSS. You can also just buy shit loads of chests to have hundreds if not thousands of gold cap in troops, depending how much you feel like spending. The only way that this game could be more pay to win is if you could literally just straight up drop cash to instantly defeat somebody without even attacking them.

Also, not sure what server you are on, but virtually all players are level 40 on my server and the whales are still 40 or 50 % stronger and basically untouchable. Don't get your hopes up that this game isn't pay to win. It tries to trick you into believing otherwise, but the game will always revolve around the whim of the big spenders. Nothing that you do matters. You can just try to stay out of their way and pretend that someday you will catch up.
