Runes per level of Temple Statue

Tue Apr 17, 2018 9:01 am

After discovering that going from +3 to +4 requires 41 runes (410 essence) I tried to figure out actually how many runes are required to level up at each step and how many would be required in all to reach a certain level.
The only pattern that seemed to work was that the total runes to reach a level was increasing by a factor of 2.7 (1 to fill spot, 3 for +1, 8 for +2, 24 for +3, 65 for +4). Please note that this is the total number of runes needed to reach a level starting from scratch and the numbers are rounded off.
Based on this logic, here is the total number of runes needed to reach each level:

Level, Cumulative runes to reach level (Runes to go from one level to next)
Fill, 1 (1)
+1, 3 (2)
+2, 8 (5)
+3, 24 (16)
+4, 65 (41)
+5, 175 (110)
+6, 473 (298)
+7, 1,277 (804)
+8, 3,448 (2,171)
+9, 9,310 (5,862)
+10, 25,137 (15,827)
+11, 67,870 (42,733)
+12, 183,250 (115,380)

A few more fun facts (provided my assumptions are correct):
1. By this logic the total number of runes needed to completely fill all 6 statues and unlock all +12 buffs is 8.42 million.
2. This can be bought via chests (assuming an average rate of 2 USD = 100 Linari = 1 Rune) by spending 16.85 Million dollars.
3. If you are buying 4 runes every 8 hours from the shop and gathering 2 per day via daily rewards, you can complete +12 on all statues by just spending 14.45 Million USD and 1,649 Years.
(Obviously there will be other mechanisms added to gather runes, this is just an extrapolation based on current scenario :D )

Please help me validate this table! Mainly if someone can confirm that +4 to +5 requires 110 runes (or 1100 essence) I would be more confident about my calculations. Also, if there is legit info somewhere about the actual number of runes needed per level please let me know.

EDIT:
Someone just confirmed that it takes 105 runes to go from +4 to +5, based on which the increment factor of 2.79 seems to work best. Here is the re-calibrated table based on this info:

Level, Cumulative runes to reach level (Runes to go from one level to next)
Fill, 1 (1)
+1, 3 (2)
+2, 8 (5)
+3, 24 (16)
+4, 65 (41)
+5, 170 (105)
+6, 474 (304)
+7, 1,322 (848)
+8, 3,688 (2,366)
+9, 10,290 (6,602)
+10, 28,709 (18,419)
+11, 80,098 (51,389)
+12, 223,473 (143,375)

That's a total of 10.2 Million runes for full completion.
Happy rune hunting! ;)

as Oberon pointed out:
"The equation for the sequence of increases is: n^3 -2n^2 +2n +1

Where N is equal to the level of enchantment."

5943 runes to max out one of the 46 slots.

works out perfectly until +4, i don't know higher tiers yet.

I looked at this also. The sequence of cost of increase between levels seems to be a cubic function: n^3 -2n^2 +2n +1

Where N is equal to the level of enchantment.

To get to +1 from 0, N = 1.
To get to +2 from +1, N =2 And so on.

The increase from +11 to +12 is 1495 runestones.

You can also take into consideration that you don't need all statues.
Pick 1 or 2, and it will cost you just around 2-3 million dollars, which is decent.

Maybe the children of billionaires like bill gay spend 8 million dollars and presume to have 15% more damage in the rockets. It's all pretty ridiculous

It's much more than 15%, Runestone of Gallantry +1% to attack, 8 slots totally = 8 x 13% = 104%. More than x2 damage. With all temples, one could single-handed clean the whole map.

This was pretty brilliant of you to figure out!
However it does not work on further levels - its 105 to go to +5 and 250 to go to +6. (This info is from players who purchased chests to unlock those levels)
So the sequence (incrementally) is 1,2,5,16,41,105,250.
You may also try to crack the total needed for each level (cumulatively) 1,3,8,24,65,170,420.

My formula is also way off, hope you are able to find the correct formula with this larger data set.

Yup, pretty decent saving of 12-14 million dollars - not too bad.
