For those people who have cities in different servers, the option would be offered to choose which one they want to keep when servers are merged. Unfortunately, the number of players in that position (cities in various servers) is nowhere near the number of people who are clamouring for server merge. The other things the developers need to study (or decide) is to what audience they will cater the game. Are they going to cater to the F2P or to the P2W. P2W makes more money faster in the beginning but in the long run it doesn't last, like they have probaby already experienced with the dying servers, people are simply leaving the game. F2P is slower at making money but has longevity. Basically, it's a simple matter of what they want to do: get 1 million people to spend $1 or get 1000 to spend $100. The second option looks better but it's just an optical illusion and an economical one too.

We are always getting feedback from players and making changes according to them. Our team is doing the best possible to come up with something fair and fun for you guys, I only ask you to have some patience.

You have been getting feedback on the problems we are facing; but you do not ever ask for feedback on the solution that you will be implementing before it is implemented.

Some game companies publish their plans for upcoming changes before they are implemented and ask for feedback on their planned solution; which allows them to make their solution even better.

What you guys are doing now is gathering feedback on the problem only; and then releasing a solution that could have been better with more feedback on the proposed solution.

I think so too, it would be way better if you would show us your plans BEFORE you already decided to implement them, the PBE is a good idea to do that, but there are problems regarding that aswell as i mentioned in a different post.

The upcoming update is already a great start to stop the dying servers.
Being able to switch kingdoms within a realm is a good addition.

Ofcourse sooner or later a merge will need to happen and we are very curious with the idea you guys come up.
There aren't a lot companies that will post there updates before they are gonna implement it.

I think it's great that you guys already give us a tease, so yes you are doing a great job, keep doing it.

There were some solutions in other games, in one game i will not name it, inactive players became bots with basic functions, gather resourses, heal troops build defense etc.
This game already has bots in neutral citys so why not make 1m inactive players a bot... also if LG dont want to delete their inactive players they can give that player hes account back after he/she relogs.
Bots could also enter houses and citys but they should have some symbol near name so that house lords know if they are real players or bots and decides on their own to let them in or not.

Inactive players becoming bots part 2

Bots should also build troops for walls and heal their tropps after the battle, otherwise house lords wouldnt want them in their citys cause they will only serve as farms.

Another fairly simple solution to the dead realm problem is to dedicate a few of the many, many new realms for transfer from existing servers with all your stuff but fresh cities. Clearly mark it a transfer server so new players can choose to go there or not.
