It's interesting that you need to place a label on me as either naïve or level 10. I guess that is supposed to make my question and points I raise less cogent. I recognize your great understanding and willingness to share it and was not questioning your assertion, but asking for more clarification, which you gave (thanks, as always).
A strong guild helps directly in the guild store, but only indirectly on most of the other venues that SS can be secured. The main way it helps is in making it easier to secure items needed for fusion, leading to increased success. But, again, there is a limit for most players as that will just help them begin to compete with other VIP players. And strong guilds are rare.
How rare are strong guilds? Well, on server two, the top guild earns 104k guild points every three days. By the 5th place, 68k points are earned and that drops precipitously to 38k for 6th place. Moving into these guilds is not very easy. There are barriers that include loyalty to the current guild and the inertia to not make an uncertain change and welcoming spots available. This limits the number of guild coins available to bring heroes to seven stars. I am in the third place guild, have enough surplus guild coins for fifty more SS, and am not close to getting any of the four heroes that you name to seven stars. It is tougher for those in lower ranked guilds.
And, yes, I was focused on the SS that could be secured via heroic levels (and recharges). But that includes the initial three heroes that can be awakened.
All right, you are right then. But this was to be expected ... of course VIP players have some kind of advantage, and if that advantage is so far in the game (getting a hero to 7* or aweakened is end-game material) it doesnt make the game a pay-to-win. You REALLY dont need a hero to be 7*... And btw i found my leon (wich i didnt use) to be 6* with 60 ss without EVER farming his stones (so no resets) or buying events with leon. So yeah, i started farming (without reset, i never do) and now i have him 7*. Not really that difficult... i own 70 diamonds since a month now (but i do have the monthly card active) and still reset 4-6 times stamina per day ...
