For me it is Serafine. 7 star, aw, but deals less damage then 5 star Nilya. At raid at least.

Alana was my worst. The promise was that it would improve her survivability so that she could be used to support a physical team. It really did nothing.

Lumos looks like he moves to the top of the list already. He helps unusable heroes. A really awful awakening.

Serafine might not be real good today, but she was the first hero awakened and became an insane damage dealer for months as a result. She is still usable though somewhat outdated by newer heroes and their insane amounts of damage.

if this is an announcement of the awakenings to come... well... "thanks, but no thanks" (again)

I agree. I was excited to see both of them getting an awakening. Then I saw their abilities. What a letdown.

Kong has an awakening? I guess I'll avoid his one in that case.

I just got Hurok this morning in the April hero chest. Is he worth awakening?

If you have the heroes with the Demon Horns then yes, his awakening is good because these heroes are all meta. Of course not everyone has Elador, Petros, and Mirah though, so it really depends on your roster.
