The crucible guides are out of date because they added new heroes to the game. I wanted to let you guys know that the crucible can still be done with just five heros. I use Jasmine, Lumos, Xanos, Taurus, and Malrath. With this team, you can pretty much clear everything except for ezio because he sometimes dodges ultimates. if that is the case, I usually use a strong nuke team to one shot the group before they can react.

The core team is Jasmine, lumos, Taurus, and Xanos. Malrath can be replaced for another hero.

How it works and strategies:

*Use jasmine's ultimates to interrupt your opponent( this is usually what I save her ultimate for)

*Use lumos against other Taurus teams and interrupting your opponent abilities at the beginning of battle( I almost never use lumos's ultimate in crucible but sometimes I do)

*At the beginning of your crucible's with Taurus, you can one shot parties with his ultimate and at the end of the crucible, I wait for the battle to go on before I use ultimate.

*Use Xanos's ultimate to either finish off or start the battle

*Use Malrath's ultimate whenever you feel you need to do it( this is your backup in case a hero survived a ultimate)

Other heroes to consider for Crucible of fire:
-Ling ling


You can use these two teams:

Group one:
Xanos, lumos, Jasmine, Riley, and Taurus

Or

Group two:
Xanos, lumos, Jasmine, Malrath, and Taurus(best team)



always remember you can start the battles overs if things go badly, and I do that all the time.

Riley is lousy against magic in general and especially against Arachna aw, Ezio aw, Serafine aw and Cara. Those are the heroes that most people have in their top 5. IMO, Riley is old school.

Riley still works very well in the crucible if you use the right teams and have her up to par. In fact she is actually performing better than my zem.

The trick now is to use taurus jasmine and lingling. Everything dies in 10 seconds literally everything! Lingling is the new rage.

I tried Leon, Riley, Leah, jasmine, and Gale and it wasn't working for me because Taurus was wrecking my team

You don't want to use a defensive tank and riley, get more fire power. Also use taurus and lingling if you can.

For me Dokras Sera Jasmine Cara and Zem still works well.

Maybe but, nothing works well compared to taurus + lingling!

I haven't tried ling ling yet but she looks fun to try out

That's the core, add another good midline DPS and an offensive tank and you're good to go.
