Garrick is a Middle-Line Support Hero with an ultimate that puts a bounty on the heads of his enemies. He also has the power to become invisible. Garrick will be available as the February Login hero starting February 2nd.Hero Stats Hero Abilities
When Garrick uses his Ultimate, Dead or Alive, a “prize” or bounty is put on the head of every enemy on the battlefield. The prizes are of 5 types and are randomly distributed: Health (indicated by a heart), Energy (lightning bolt), Physical Attack (sword), Physical Shield (shield), and Magic Shield (circle). When one of Garrick’s teammates kills an enemy, they get the bounty that was placed on that enemy. Health, Energy, and Physical Attack prizes result in a boost in the corresponding stat. Physical Shield and Magic Shield prizes can block a certain amount of the corresponding damage type.
Besides placing a bounty, Dead or Alive also debuffs enemies making them twice as susceptible to basic attacks, as well as boosting the attack speed of Garrick’s allies.
Invisibility, as its name suggests, allows Garrick to become invisible to the enemy, and therefore he can’t be targeted by single-target enemy attacks. The next time he uses a Basic Attack, Garrick becomes visible again, but that basic attack deals increased damage. Upgrading this ability increases the damage done by that basic attack.
Flying Shuriken is a simple single-target ranged attack which deals Physical Damage and stuns the affected enemy.
Disciplined Killer is essentially a passive ability which allows Garrick’s Physical Attack to increase by a certain amount every second before it is applied to one of his Basic Attacks, which will deal a very high amount of damage. It then goes back to its base value and starts building up again. The more you level up this ability, the more Garrick’s Physical Attack will increase every second. Initial Ability Sequence:
Basic Attack (long range), Invisibility, Disciplined Killer (applied to close-range Basic Attack), Flying Shuriken Summary:
Like most support heroes, Garrick’s stats look fairly average, but his value is not to be underestimated. No matter which teammates he is fighting alongside, his ultimate could potentially help his entire party in different ways. His invisibility ability is quite long-lasting, and during this time he takes little damage as he cannot be selected as a target. Garrick’s basic attack works at both long- and close-range, and often receives a boost from either his 2nd or 4th ability. Don’t know which support hero best fits with your party? Garrick is probably your answer.
