Are Dwarves obsolete?

Most people would say Dwarves are best at sieging. But with the new change to Grimms ability affecting all siege weapons, is that still true? Are rocketeers that much more powerful as say, Archers? I have done some small testing with the new system and don't see a major difference, due to the length...

Maybe wait till your castle get hits because of those changes. I would say you would not be too happy with them then. I think they are fine.

I agree that more needs to be done with Dwarves, they say the extra cost of mechs is solved by being great pillagers, but on my server either all the castles have been pillaged or will cost more the break into then you get out.

I just think they are not up to end game in this early access game.

Nerf either spiders or the scorpion damage on mech troops. Or better yet, nerf both! I know that before the patch the skeletons you used had to be around the same power as the spiders you were going up against. The titan has been buff since but I doubt it was big enough for bronze to be viable.

Any map changes would hurt the older server imo. SO they should only be applied to new ones.

My theory craft is Gold Cavalry with 2 saints all on one side to try and force into the back lines. Cavalry over swordsmen as they both have pride but Cavalry are large, so are not at a disadvantage there. They are few so spiders are less effective and saints bubble 3 units adding to their strength ...

From what I have read they are already looking into this. Sadly I can not for the life of me see where it was mentioned. Also, this seems like a post for the "Bugs & suggestions" page.

I feel like just getting rid of Skarn and filling that area out would be an easy fix, and maybe put an orc camp there. As I agree that one of the biggest benefit of Neferak and Athaly is the extra area they have to explain into early game.
