I'm pretty sure at this point that this is a p2w game. Personally i wouldn't buy any hero unless they appear on chest, but if your not getting a hero to counter something then you shouldn't win.

Thats the idea behind it, kill your opponents within the capacity of your ammo. You fail you lose along with all your mech.

Mechs can be countered by deadeyes, so having a dwarf defend you helps. On the other hand gold sword + virion resu siege destroys any garrison without losses. Regardless gold garrison just falls easier on late game because of hero buffs and t11 research makes tanks too tanky.

Fire off is easily countered with black hole. Blasters lose this ability after getting stunned. He hit my base because I have no good garrison, and dwarf suck in defense everyone knows it.
