This was pretty brilliant of you to figure out! However it does not work on further levels - its 105 to go to +5 and 250 to go to +6. (This info is from players who purchased chests to unlock those levels) So the sequence (incrementally) is 1,2,5,16,41,105,250 . You may also try to crack the total ...

I looked at this also. The sequence of cost of increase between levels seems to be a cubic function: n^3 -2n^2 +2n +1

Where N is equal to the level of enchantment.

To get to +1 from 0, N = 1.
To get to +2 from +1, N =2 And so on.

The increase from +11 to +12 is 1495 runestones.

It will take 1465 runestones to upgrade from +11 to +12.

It will take 4953 base level runestonea to take a single gem slot from empty to +12
